- 1: moon 1
- 2: Gargoyle 1
- 3: Lava 1
- 4: Sunset panorama
I was making this during the week, but i never got any answers of permission to use images, so have had to re create it twice now lol
Anyway, i liked how it turned out and while it may look simple, it took about an hour to cut out the ship grrr and alot of playing with contrast, saturation, burn tool and clone stamping :) Oh and on the ship, i have removed flags etc etc as I didnt want them :)
Enjoy :)
Thanks to the following artists at Deviantart, I couldnt make my final images without you :)

This is a bit of an understated one -- I wanted to keep as much of the feel of the original scene as possible, while making the face even more recognizable as a face.
The "story" running through my head while making this involves the stone giant eating passerby and, each time, experiencing regret and weeping its victim's blood.
Easter egg: find the skull...
Only used 3 outside sources, referenced below.
I'm a bit of a Bézier curve junkie so there was a fair amount of clipping and masking, along with some pixel-by-pixel touch-ups on the desert brush by the rock.
Thanks to Lip Kee for the vulture, Sam Felder for the sand, and Eris for the skull.
Please let me know your thoughts! Thanks! (5 years and 3838 days ago)
wow really cool
there ya go.. all fixed
Nice moody scene.....edges need a little work you may be getting some ambient light from the moon as well
Gargoyle source is pre-manipulated, I also want this source for my entry but I can't, as manipulated images are not allowed. Nice mood
im not sure how you will go, but i think both your sources are pre manipulated....
