it looks very nice overall, but the blending of the roots isn;t really doing it for me, i really like the feel of the image, but you should try working on blending those roots into the sand a bit more. Good luck! I'll hold off my vot for now, just in case you change it.

your background image is very poor... maybe and some contrast or remove the noise a bit.... it is a good idea for the image, but your background will let you down goodluck
