Nice colors and pick of source. Skin looks quite ok, at some parts a bit flat though. Have a look at the nose, that has some depth. The skin however is still flat where it should go up (middle of the nose). Also the left side (for viewer) of the nose the texture should go down again (but then barely visible that you see it going down, because you cant see that much from that angle). It can be fixed, try to use some liquify and gently push up the texture where the nose has more relief. Same can be said from the shoulder. Good luck!

thanks for your advice wasowski i fixed the nose with the fluidity filter hope it's better now...
ur not alowed to show your identity on entries.. i suggest you remove your name. I like the work but i think the edges are too sharp, i sugest a soft blur on the edges cus the black outline it has makes it look weird. arround the nose i would try to make the shapes on the skin make look rounded so they follow the body shape and not go straight over..
Nice work - you have a dark outline on the side of the face and the shoulder etc, just a little distracting especially at the shoulder.. Maybe refine your edge slightly?
i would place a diff part of the skin on the ears so it looks actualy more naturally and not printed on, the bg seems a bit blurry compared to the elephant top...other then that im not sure about it being on theme you replaced some body parts and didnt just replaced the skin.. but thats not me to decide, its a funny and nice piece anyway

I darkened the light on top of the head.......Eladine....its definately on theme....i also disagree about the ears....i think it looks fine.
I like the tail and the stripe work on the fingers. Except for maybe sharpening up the high res a bit, this is a well done chop. Good work and good luck, author!
it doesn't need any changes.. but if you could even out the colors on the rump so they don't look so much like.. welll... you know... (Favorite because it looks so excellently real)
awesome high res! i'm looking forward to the sbs! just on little thing.. you should smudge the hairs on the cheek and the jaw a little bit. the cheek line seems too sharp. it should look more like the hairs around the bottom lip imo

SBS is up.
Thanks for the nice comments everyone!
Elficho, thank you for your suggestion. I was actually playing with that when I was at an earlier stage in the entry's creation and was having trouble getting it to look right. If I get a chance, I will try again and see if I can get a natural effect. Before it looked quite odd and flat.
HiRes looks pretty good, yes. Elficho has a good point about the sharp cheekline. Softly smudging those edges certainly would help, maybe also a tiny bit of blur and as final touch an extra layer with grey (really between #000000 and #FFFFFF) in overlay and then with the burntool on 10% you gently make the edge a bit darker. Tiny extra comment: check the whiskers in this image http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a7/Whiskers.jpg. They just come out of the fur, in your image it's more like they come from the skin. In case you'd like to change that, would be cool . Btw that you think about whiskers in the first place is of course . Good luck!
You really want to rub her face... hehehe good job

Did some work on making the whiskers seem more like they were coming out of the fur and made the jaw line a bit furrier. Didn't want to go too far with that because of the thin, fine fur on her face, but I like the improvement.
Nicely done, would be great if you could make the black stripes a bit darker (maybe if you copy-paste the tiger texture on a new layer with blending mode overlay?). Source 4 should have a R-warning . Good luck!
Nice - we call them drop bears here in Oz, they are the ones that attack you!! Hahaha.. Not.. Is the green hue on the face deliberate?? Just sort of doesnt look right! Maybe a darker orange instead of green? Nice blend!
awesome job author.. but your plant source is missing (You doubled the man source) fix that so you don't get no grief
Oh never mind.. you know how to fix it LOL
I really like this image.. very captivating. Good luck!
nice work with the dodge and burn tool
Wonderful.....wow
Wow this is a fantastic job, i first thought it was a snake's skin but now i saw it wasn't, still amazing work!
Not bad, would be better with a displacement map.
it's crocodile skin and thanks for your comment.
Gorgeous! Fantastic! I don't know displacement map. But I think it's a great job.
wow, this is quite perfect!
