strong image, very well contrasted. To me, though - the light source is PREVELANT - reaching all the way to the arm chair, casting a shadow on the dog . . .the clock does cast a shadow . . . but the intensity of the light at that point, would wash it out some on the left (IMHO) Really great work here, author.

I have waited a long time to say this... FLIP THE BIRD... hehehehe.. it really should be facing into the image to keep the balance proper... but Thats me.. ( used to work in old newspaper design... hehehe.. and all images should face into the text.. and right now the bird (and a bit of the cat) are facing right... but it's a very fun and funny piece.. good luck!!!

You HAVE to give the model a reflection, too. So many people are making this mistake in this contest.

Cool idea, but the model's reflection is off, unless she is supposed to be floating... the reflection would be coming out from her and would be directly underneath her. Good luck!

this is very clever but you got to make it more yours.. a simple shadow around the picture .. added density to the easel and a nice refresh blur around the cats. you have the talent..go for it..and good luck

and will you please tell your husband to go for it.. I can't make out the work.. but He's got an obvious talent.. might as well use it

I would either put a frame around the painting or use drop shadow/bevel/emboss. Right now it looks like a piece of painted paper taped up on the wall. Really nice otherwise.
