There's nothing flashy or spectacular here. I wanted to place the sunflower in a suitable setting. Careful consideration was given to the scale of the chickadee vs. the flower head. I decided on the current size based on personal experiences and observations. Sunflower sizes can vary widely, giving me somewhat better options on the chickadee size. Chickadees ARE AWESOME.. we use to make suet balls (bacon fat mixed with peanut butter) and freeze them on yarn and hang them in trees..and the chickadees would get so FAT. hehehe.. good luck on this author (he could use some feet)
