looks like you´ve used a motion blur on the shadow. PLEASE let me Fav this too. So, merge your trees as a copy, turn them to black. transform it to perspektiv. to blurr them, use a small gausian, or, better, use the blurrtool and soften them at the tree just a lil, and to the viewers point more. the hard shadows at the tree in the first post looked better. try to go from thouse hardness to a blurr the farer it gets away. hope you get what i mean, sometimes i talk around corners i think
Solaris, thank you for your help. yes, I did a motion blur... I will try the gaussian blur ...I do not think it looks to bad the way it is... but let me do what you say...just in the front shadows.... Update: Used the gaussian blur.... thanks
