Nice use of source, and good humour! My one suggestion would be to add a small blurred shadow on his left (screen left) because he looks slightly pasted on from that side. Be sure to make it small though, just so you don;t get any weird shadows. Good luck!
Nice idea, but I'd suggest finding a pic of real ropes...the ones you made look flat.
