This picture seems to have only harnessed the basic shape of the source. Even the color seems so heavily modified...you should have kept the texture at least. The background and surfaces seem very weak as well. I would try to brush it up, look for a more detailed b/g, keep the detail in the coin, and make it seem real as oppose to so cartoony
