An image of my dog I took a couple month ago. He's shaking off the water so hard that even the pixels fly away. (5 years and 3689 days ago)

i love the idea of this image, however the peices look like they are in front of him, not actually coming off of him. See how you would go if you took all the blending options out of them, and then play with the perspective so they aren't all flat faced to the screen goodluck author.
@Keiley22, interesting. I think what you see is the bloat I added to the beginning. I've made a flat version without the bloat but it looks actually like it--flat. So I prefered this version. Without the shadows and blending it looks even more flat to the extend that you wouldn't recognize what the intention is.
Your technique is good, but if he's shaking off pieces of himself, why is he still there? There's like 3 times more pieces than actual dog...
@CMYK46: Oh sure, if I had removed the dog then you'd ask what this supposed to be. And knock yourself out pushing all the pieces back together. There won't be a piece left over!
amazing! earned an 82 from me
Just make the pieces smaller...it ain't rocket surgery.
@CMYK46, Why should the pieces all of a sudden become smaller? Some physics I don't know about? If you can tell me why this would improve the image I might prepare the OR for surgery.
Because as I said, the pieces shown add up to 2 dogs....
Prove it!
Fabulous idea, and very nice work...gl author...
