I am waiting for this entry. Awesome work
edit : See my comment, in which I have uploaded chop and reference comparison. Curious to know, is it possible can anyone create exact shapes of reference from source using warp or liquify ?
Thanks, glad you like it!
First time I've seen this one....great work author.
Lovely transformations.......Awesome......G/L Author.
Great work, good luck.
Amazing work.. so realistic. Good luck!
Scales are so beautiful, wish the eye had as much depth and interest. Great job.
WOW!!
Very well crafted work! Good use of the source texture.
fantastic !
Beautiful image. The external source image and the result look very close, even the eyes and the reflections. The external source is dominating your work.
No offensive to author but after PondMaster comment, I decided to make comparasion of Reference and chop. I really like this one but after comparing reference and chop in photoshop, it looks so identical that there is no slight difference in any shape. I assume that if all shapes taken from source and reshape using warp or liquify, is it possible that it ends up with accurate result. I have uploaded comparasion screen shot at

for users to correct me, if I am wrong.
Thanks Nasirkhan for your interest in my entry! When I chopped this entry for the old PST, I was influenced by Hyperrealism, a style in art that attempts to create a photorealistic images of people, landscapes and scenes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperrealism_(painting) The few basic scales I did with a pen tool, then copied them and warped and liquified to fit the rest. As you've noticed, the result is almost identical to the original photo!
your entry is amazing .. deserve to win ...
This is a very impressive entry but honestly, you could have made this out of anything.
Sorry, just dont get the idea. Its a magnificent parade of virtuosity. A lot of work, skills and talent for what ? To make a duplicate of a snake photo ?Your effort remind me a great short story â€Pierre Mesnard, author of Don Quijote †by Jorge Luis Borges. If you have time, read it, you will love it. Good luck.
AWESOME!
very well done.great idea.
Thanks guys for all your comments! @ billyboy_ Interestingly enough, I have complete works by J.L. Borges at home! I reread the mentioned story, and like it! You’ve started an almost philosophical question on ‘what is art’, where is that fine line that divides artwork from an unoriginal by-product? I am not sure myself, still searching….
Author, if you find the answer to this question, please let me know. It will be a great happiness for me to know that I have direct acces to God via PXL site
great work dud.....
