hhmmmm.... its really hard to find the source unless you look at the sbs.
Agrees with jaescoe21. Minimal source used and too graffic and disturbing for my taste.
Sorry Jawshoewhah! LOL I've done the flowers and the butterflies thing, im just trying new stuff. I assure no one was harmed during the making of this photo.
Figures are too small, minimal use of source...
Is this in good taste for a family-friendly site? It's a nice blend of different sources, even though it's hard to see the actual source, and i like the fact that you've hidden the source in different parts, but i disagree about what the image itself shows. Good luck.
Good made for so far....but It is photoshop THIS image, you put in on the car and that's all ?
I like the source used on the back window of the van.. in the spine and legs of the girls (tattoo nice touch) the license plate.. hehe.. though disturbing I really enjoyed the process.. good luck author (really is gross, but with the SBS it really is quite brilliant)
EDIT:
1000 views!!!!!!! Wooooo Hoooooooo author... High FIVE!!!!
Well I think it's pretty beautiful, needs more blood and guts and throw in some naked college honeys and it'll be perfect. Nice job
I think this would fit into the collisions contest better than this one even though you used the source. And I agree with everyone else too graffic for a family friendly site.
well it deffinately is an interesting way to use the source
well it deffinately is an interesting way to use the source
All of you that think this image is too graphic for a family site should go and watch what your kids are playing on the XBox. Then you wouldn't think so.
ahha nice idea..could they help me
Good chop author . It really is hard to see the source, unless you look at the sbs but if you do you can tell there that you really tried to put it to use. If it was a reck like that there may be more blood especially if the spinal cord is gone threw and bones are showing. Just my opinion.
Whereas this is a good image, this is not suited for this particular contest because the source pictures doesn't even play a part in the picture. If you can remove the source picture without it affecting the picture then you haven't used it right.
personally, graphic or otherwise, and as a non chopper myself, this is probably the best one I have seen here yet.........the hi res is excellent........the idea is very clever, and is way outside the box most have used here so far. Congrats author!!.......Just what is minimal use of source anyway..........??
Ade, minimal use of source is usually opinion. You can't get disqualified for it but it will affect the score from some people. I still think you could have at least used it a little more, even though this isn't really in my taste. There's an empty trunk...
Minimal use of source? But eyes and a smile are enough to win? This source is used 11 times in 9 different places..
Are these contests judged by "talent and technique" or "taste and opinion?" Just wondering...
taste and opinion only author
this entry is far from minimal use of source, i think the ones who have made such comment failed to review the work.
unfortunately author, a lot of users do not know how to judge on technique and talent....this apparent in more than just the 'chop' contests, it happens in the photography contests too...
i can't see the source at all...nope...still can't see it
you're not looking hard enough rick!............the hi res shows them very clearly!!!
freaking rock on!!!!! I think that the "art world" in general is about politics, taste and opinion unfortunately. I attempt to judge each piece by creativity and presentation even if an image is so cute it makes me gag. The most disturbing part of this image is contained in the comments with regards to censorship. I have been censored in the past and it has affected my creativity ever since. Best of luck to you with this tremendous effort.
p.s......the spinal usage is great!
I don't care how much you used the source, the figures are the main focus of this pic, and they're to small...it ain't rocket surgery to see that.
well.. back to this again.. great job. I am glad i didnt rate it earlier.. You created a wonderful hard hitting scene, one has to stop and look, just like a real accident. Bravo
For what it is worth, I wish you good luck..If you win then so be it for I an just one opinion.
cmyk, just where does it say how big the figures have to be............nowhere, that's where......! this piece is on topic, and well executed, not just some flat, lifeless cartoon piece, that could be produced using paintshop!!
great
Howdie stranger!
