omg..what logic is dat?
who said logic was needed?
The first two sentences in this contest's guidelines say, "The item turned upside down has to fit into the image smoothly. Its former location has to be manipulated to match the original background flawlessly" It needs some work, maybe even a new idea.
Why is Will Smith's life upside down?
Fresh Prince of Bel-air theme song. And yes while it doesnt look exactly like a normal explosion (which is the point) the background is normal and it fits in rather smoothly.

I agree totally with jawshoewhah, i would reconsider the entire image. The smudging breaks up the smoke texture and so it really doesn;t look much like anything. Try working with shadows and also how the light from the explosion would affect the background... good luck.
