Yeah, so last Sunday, we were gonna go dirt bikin'. We got this place out in the desert where we go all the time. We come up over this ridge and saw this. I don't know what was goin' on. Trey, he's the friend I was with, he started screamin' we were bein' invaded and the jets were buzzin' this thing like flies on sh...uh...Anyway, I grabbed the camera, cuz we were gonna take pictures of us bikin' and I was shakin' real bad cuz I was sca...uh...excited and I managed to get this pic. Not a real good one, but then the camera died and I couldn't get anymore.

nice but the whole image looks blured.. ( is that because ........ ''''''''we were gonna take pictures of us bikin' and I was shakin' real bad'''''') .... GL
Lol anoop...yeah it could be really good if it wasn't for the blur. Consider trying to fix that as you'd have a great image. BTW I knew strange things always happened on that trail...see what happened there just last week? http://www.pxleyes.com/photoshop-picture/4b9ce35bdf6d0/Aw-Nuts-.html
*sigh* I knew I was taking a chance by doing this, BUT...I wanted to make it " as convincing and believable as possible" as per the guidelines and my reasoning is that if anybody actually DID come across something like this, they'd be running home to change their pants, not calmly setting up the shot and making sure the focus was correct. This looks like a picture *I* would take, even on a good day.
I don't mind the blur either .. though maybe add a teensy weensy bit of altered color to the body of the ship.. maybe a touch of contrast ,,, but that is totally IMHO.. great job author
well done.. it really realistic.. and I agree with your point there.. that people will be running around here and there at this kind of situation.. haven't we seen a lot of alien invasion flicks..? haha.. I liked it really it..
tho it's suggested to use hi-res, I think this works, love your description of the event!
Creative concept. An unsteady camera yields a bur, not a double exposure exposure as presented here, however. The jets by the UFO are the smallest so must be the farthest away, a distinction I would otherwise have expected to accord to the two center jets flying towards the left (in my mind returning back after having flown around the UFO).
Nice! I doubt someone would keep the calm if this situation was really true!
Okay I see your point with the blur. The craft just looks a bit unrealistic, even with the blur, being so close, it seems like it should have a bit more detail.
lol... chickpeas!
nice thinking
Dan, I'm going to have to take your word about the double exposure thing. Cameras and I don't get along, so I leave them alone and they leave me alone. Game, I've never seen a real UFO, so I wouldn't know if mine is "unrealistic". But, once again, my thinking is that if I were going to build an inter-atmospheric vehicle, it would be as smooth as possible, not only to avoid air drag, but also to keep things from falling off. Yes, I think about these things and yes, I think too much.
great work ! amazing !
Blur doesn't really work for me, mainly because in a daylight shot like this, it will never be this blurry. Even the most novice of photographers could get a pretty clear shot with this lighting, no matter how scared he was.
