I would make the bottom edge of the land less sharp and a bit darker, plus bring back the sky background (because in landscape capture, the sky is almost in the same dimension plane with other things, not blurry like in portrait, macro, etc.). I don't agree with the others. I think this is brilliant and don't understand why these people want the river. You still have at least half of the original image still there. Great idea!
