Pen tool to select the hurdle pole, copy/paste twice. F/T distort and skew to make pole look like its falling and then applied a motion blur. Also selected and copy/paste the rail holder on the top RH side (5 years and 3617 days ago)

If the flying horse and rider aren't moving fast enough to suffer any blurring, then it's not clear that the falling rail would be blurred. BTW you forgot the rail holder on the top LH side. And the RH holder strikes me as just the half towards our side of the jump and would need a matching half towards the other side of the jump to form a V for the rail to rest in.
Good idea. But that bar is too blurry, but i know you wanted it to make it blurry to give the idea that it falls. Great job!
i suppose if it were kicked and falling it would move faster than the horse (in mid jump a horse is not being propelled except by the force it had as it left the ground with a loss of some amount for weight and gravity...) well... maybe, id have to do the math! all in all though the blur does something for it, i think! gl author!
nice idea
