Restaurant "At the Stuffed Elephant" makes the idiom "there's an elephant in my room" come to live. As a gimmick they bought a young elephant, but when the years progressed the elephant became famous and people started to feed him. Now the restaurant has a problem; the elephant has outgrown them, got stuck with his head outside the window and his behind in the diningroom.
The food "At the Stuffed Elephant" is still good but there's just 1 'table-for-one' left, on a good day...

So, it means that it's a place where you go to eat with someone else, not alone...
Uhm no Erikuri, the idiom means that there's some issue which is so obvious and no one is willing to talk about it.
