Nice idea -- Check the length of the shadow for the rifleman -- judging by the barrel shadow the rifleman's shadow seem a bit long by maybe 50%.
if the sun is very strong, according to the shadow, the other cowboy and the horse, should be well lit by the sun. Think about it!
Nice entry author. One little nitpick, the sherrif's badge is now on the wrong side. They always wore the badge over their heart. See if you can cut/paste it to the other side.

I love the feel of this one! Looks very realistic to me, apart from the man's shadow...looks a bit small, IMO.
