its a MANTRA reverin the holy God Shiva of the Hindus
its general meanin is
"adored be SHIVA"
AUM >> is a powerful sacred syllable in d hindu religion enchanted powerfully
it is a PRANAVA or SEED MANTRA/chant
it is known to b d most powerful syllable in d universe.....
