I don't get it. Did she fall over after sprouting because she's top heavy?
Is she trying to scoop more mulch over her roots for nutrients? Even under the canopy of "surreal," this is more confusing than thought provoking...
Personally, I don't care for the background. It's too flat with the "photoshop vignette" look to it. When I think "surreal," I think of Dali, with his dreamlike vistas filled with odd and distorted objects.

Wow, that was kind of harsh. I think this is perfect and right on theme. To me she looks like she is trapped, and she's trying to free her self. I love surrealism because it's open for interpretation, and at the very end when you can't see something that satisfies your mind then you don't have to get it, just enjoy the mystery. Well done Author, my favorite part are her roots. =)

I don't see any problem with this entry, your approach is very artistic, I like it . Surrealism is the way to show the world through the eyes of the artists. I immediately though about the agriculture and the connection between the mankind and the nature, we're just living things as the trees or animals. I like the color, the choice of background and the soil-like things flying from the bottom, nice touch. No need to change anything, good luck author
