The curve on the road seems inward, so that means that the force is inward... Ohh so the bowling pins are not scattering but are assembling, then why is it called an explosion...

Interesting idea, I really like the force field. The only problem was that I really didn't notice it until I looked at your sbs. I'm not exactly sure why it gets lost in the image, the only thing I can think of is the smoke from her hands. Maybe if you made it into some type of electricity which also lit the globe?
