This made me laugh. Try duplicating the middle dog figure and flipping it and lowering the opacity on 'multiply' mode...this will give you a reflection that I think you might need.
if i understand you ,, thats what i dit but the source image have his own shadow
Try to blend your reflection with the source's reflection by using lower opacity in your reflection layer. Also with a soft brush with low opacity you can erase parts of your reflection for a better result.
I love the work you put into this! Drawback, reflection in pond is wrong, like the DOF!
