The Trojan Horse is a tale from the Trojan War, as told in Virgil's Latin epic poem The Aeneid, also by Dionysius, Apollodorus and Quintus of Smyrna. The events in this story from the Bronze Age took place after Homer's Iliad, and before his Odyssey. It was the stratagem that allowed the Greeks finally to enter the city of Troy and end the conflict.
Quietly sneaking in to the enemy port city at dawn centuries later, this is a rare shot of the Trojan Duck - an Industrial Age version of the original Bronze Age Trojan Horse.
Source image is used, please see sbs - and you can see his beady little eye in the upper port, keeping a steady watch. (5 years and 2990 days ago)

Head looks flat compared to the body. The plates should be curved accordingly.
fantastic work author like it
Great texture overlay, but the lighting doesn't match the background...
Good call, Bob, I've rounded the head a bit more. Thank you, Kushpatel. And MossyB, I've darkened the bushes and large rooftop slightly, but other than that the lighting is as I envision it - dawn with the sun barely peeking through the smog - lighting from upper right throughout.
Good job correcting the lighting. It was the top of that roof on the left that was throwing a visual monkey wrench into the image. Now it's no longer fighting for dominance, and the roofline can bring the eye back down to the duck.
Nice job on the Trojan Duck, love the armor plating work. Good warp tool technique. Nice mood and good choice of colors.
Nice Job
Maybe you can burn a little bit more the duck, however very good work author, good luck !
Made some adjustments in the shadows/shading and darks/lights. Have also added a low opacity dark orange layer for that warm early morning foggy glow. Thank you all for your comments!
Super industrial Duck.. Quacky quackers!!!
cool.. should add "soldiers" climbing out of the ducky or a door
Thank you, aheman, I did think of that, but the duck is still traveling, and the 'soldiers' are tending all that heavy machinery inside - and staying stealth for the time being.
Wow, it's interesting to ride on copper ship in the duck shape It could also be nice to ride in duck submarine - great work author
woww Good thaught & Great Presentation
