Nice work. Also suffers from the "two heads" problem, and the green on the building is too yellow...brings the background forward...suggest muting that and the red on the roof to help create depth. Color wise, backgrounds should recede. Still, it's mostly a very good repair job except for not reducing the excessive graininess of the original image. GL author.
The pink tones on the shoes bother me, but I'm not a fan of colorization ever since Ted Turner ruined so many movies back in the 80's...
This really is a pretty good job all in all. I do like the choice of colors but the color is a little faded or washed out IMO. A couple of things you might want to try is,... duplicating the layer. Set the new copy's layer blend to overlay or multiply. Adjust the opacity accordingly. Then add an adjustment or fill layer for selective color, play around with the sliders for each color.
I offer this as a suggestion only author, as it is your work and is the way you like. Nice vote from me, good luck.
the only thing you have not colored n what stands out to me is the ground, to me thats kinda weird nice job on the coloring
Thanks for the comments and suggestions, will work on them if I find the time. I kept the colours muted on purpose, to give it the hand coloured look rather than a colour photo. the ground has got a very light colour, but concrete tends to be pretty grey.
Congratulations.
