Yes (if you are referring to the picture of Obama) it's a creative commons picture kyricom, most likely taken by a US citizen. As for being better if it were Cheney...that's debatable. Let's just say I was no real fan of his either, but IMO things are not any better as they stand now.

Honestly imo i dont think political statements should be in a contest like this but belong on a forum where ppl with the same ideas can share them. about the chop i dont understand the cow on the wall behind him and i do think the pic with the crown was allready chopped. Good work on the color change on the crown and i like how you didnt put it straighton his head.

For what it's worth people...concerning the pre -manipulated source. I know for a fact that already photoshopped sources have been allowed to stay in these contests before. As a matter of fact just a couple of weeks ago one of these entries managed to take 2nd place in a contest. Funny thing is , no one opened their mouth's about that one. Thanks for being so concerned.

Bush/Cheney spent a trillion dollars on a war against a country that didn't do anything to us, costing twice as many American lives (not to mention all the lives of people from other countries) as the original attack they were allegedly retaliating for, and now people bllame Obama that we're a trillion dollars in debt. Hrmmm... Bush/Cheney deregulated the banking industry allowing those thieves to crash the entire world economy and not a single one of them has gone to prison (because they made what they did legal). Hrmmm... Bush/Cheney's policies caused more unemployment than any time in our history except the Great depression and jobs have been added EVERY SINGLE MONTH under Obama... Hrmmmm... Bush/Cheney gutted the enforcement arm for the EPA in the name of smaller government, and BP and Halliburton cut corners and destroyed the Gulf of Mexico...Hrmmmm... Bush/Cheney... oh, never mind, not enough room here. Oh yeah, let's bring THEM back (or one of their clones)!

BTW i can't help but think that it is you wanting to read and put more into this than what I intended. You know what Ripsaw, Tiger Woods's picture would have worked here just as well. But oh shame on me for doing a satirical picture of the current President of the United States, it's not like I am the 1st one to do such a thing on this site.

Doesn't bother me a bit that you reposted it. I certainly didn't mean to imply that Obama is perfect. He, as all presidents, have both positives and negatives, all of which can be made fun of. But, the guy who was the only person in history to change a country's stance on the Geneva Conventions to ALLOW torture, and allow American citizens to be detained with no charges and not allowed to contact family or lawyers, and so much else, just kind of gets under my skin. That, combined with the title "KIng Rat" puzzled me a little. The title took me to the novel by James Clavell, and the implication that Obama has done something along the lines of that character, or worse than his predecessor just seemed a bit of a non sequitor.

Whats wrong with my subject eladine? The last time I checked Obama was the president of the United States. I was not aware that this American president was so popular in The Netherlands. As I said before this is not the first jab a member of this site has taken a t a president...Did you mean to say my subject person?

oh i personally dont have a problem with it all just looks like a policitical statement there and i dont think that belongs in a picture contest. LOL I do think actulay more ppl then you may think are concerned about what happens in the usa since it affects our economy as well and even closer to home... My brother has been send to afghanistan as well.. twice... if it wasnt for the usa to go to war with them this might not have happened.. but I dont wanna start a debate since I dont have a better solution either, just saying that whoever is making the calls in the usa also affects us and i think Obama has his mistakes but hes been cleaning up a lot of other ppls mess.

Every solution that he comes up with is shot down without anyone coming up with a solution of their own. Ask for a solution, and every other candidate gives you a reason why Obama isn't coming up with a good solution. Didn't ask about Obama. I asked what is YOUR solution. Blank stares and accusations of being an Obamabot because I want you to give me an answer that means something.

I am truly happy this picture has stirred so much emotion. downoffthedragon I have quite a few ideas in mind too many to list here.
