works as it should, but kind of not a traditional stereogram. Neat image all the same. ;]
what the hell is this suppose to be?
@Lionsden: This is a Stereogram, a 2d image that "becomes" a 3d image with some trick of your eyes. The goal of the contest doesn't say that it has to be a Random dots stereogram. But if anyone thinks it's not on theme, then please report the entry. Thanks for asking!!
Thanks Bjaockx for your comment!
(I forgot to say in the SBS that the earth image was srunk to a 100 px size.)
By the way, for those who have problems seeing this images, the trick is to blink all the time. I know it is not a very glamorous posture to be with your nose stuck on the screen and blinking like a mad thing... but that's the way!!
I typed somethign yesterday but i guess i forgot to press say LOL
anyhow,, its a great image as a first entry for this contest, very much on theme. I hope there will be many more entries with some a little bit more mysterious where you don't see right away what is supposed to be seen.
For me it works when I just stare at it and let my eyes focus on the same spot and dont blink.
it works perfect the planets pop out nicely in 3d. nice work, great opening entry!
WOW .... l like it ... My kids like it too ... Good Job!
I really like your entry. I can see Earth floating everywhere, as in a 3D setting. Well done and good luck.
Thanks for your comments!!
Very fun! I counted an awesome six levels. It was interesting how the far Earths ended up bigger than the near Earths contrary to the usual rules of perspective.
For me, the 3D effect is more important than any mystery about what the image is.
very nice 3d effect.
Excellent entry. The 3D effect is crystal clear, although subtle. Very well done!
Thanks!!
