Nice idea. Maybe, it will look better if you could make the front legs bigger, so they obscure most of the hind legs. The shadow of the head suggest it is just above the ground, but the position of the right leg suggest otherwise.
I agree the front legs should maybe have been a little bigger to show depth of field. Great idea and well done !
