Extra points for the nice sbs! Nice effect with the smudge tool. Not sure if you're trying to go for real hair or not. If you were I might suggest using a smaller brush when you use the smudge tool. Or just add a new layer set to screen and use a really small brush to paint out some small wispy hairs. Having said that, you could have easily been going for a different effect. If so, ignore everything I just said.

Added more smudge. I zoom in so close to do it, that when I pan out my eyesight doesn't allow me to see if I achieved the right detail. Still has the Garden Gnome Feel.
