This is nice, I like the color scheme here!
I know it is an artsy piece but I would still suggest giving that chameleon some shadow and matching the lighting on the arm. Especially where the very light part on her arm meets the tail. The darkness of the tail makes it look like it doesn't fit together.
Consider that you have a strong light shining on the arm, it would also shine on the chameleons tail and make it much brighter than it is now.

I agree that the image needs to be refined, but i thought as the theme is disintegration many material rules would change, though, if i get time before the contest closes i will try to add more touches, thank you for stopping by.
