Interesting idea. I might have made the carriage just a bit more transparent, but it works. On the SBS, possibly some written explanation would help. GL author.
(On second look, lightening or even eliminating the shadow could help the illusion, but that would be a LOT of work!)
thanks for your suggestion. I removed the shadow. (yes, it was quite some work )
What do you think, should I leave the shadow away completely or bring it back just a bit?
I also tried to tint the shadow to give it a "glassshadowlook", but it doesnt worked for me.
finaly I made the windows more transparent.
The "Illusion" Is spectacular. The only suggestion is Placing the original Mask on the top layer, then PAINSTAKINGLY erase the interior leaving the edges intact. I've always had difficulty with making "see through" and I've always find that having the edges present adds to the effect. GREAT IDEA ALL ROUND. Excellent in fact An absolute Masking nightmare, and you did it amazingly
It was a Nightmare but also a challange
Will see if I can do more about the edges. I also tryed alot but in fact it only made small changes to the Image and not really improvingly.
made some improvements and also added a additional highres version in the sbs (step 9)
Kind of like the light power in step nine, it's all good (the gold glow gives it that old time movie look) great job all round
The edges look fine to me, and the lack of shadow definitely improves the illusion. I'd still like to see more transparency, but that's up to you. Over all, a fine job.
Congrats!!!
