Tough way to make a living. This dragon escaped captivity and now the brave dragon hunter has his work cut out for him.
Using two shots of the same dragon I was disappointed at the quality of the images but decided to attempt to create a decent dragon with them. I added the open mouth from the Trex image using warp to fit the dragon. The skin of the jaw was taken from the dragon source and overlayed on the jaw.
There was a lot of cloning and coloring needed over all especially the horns which I had to remake. The warrior is from Marcus Ranum on DeviantArt as was the helmet. The sword was added to replace the axe. Adjustments to the costume were also made. (5 years and 1370 days ago)

Nice image over all. This is what I want to see in these contests about dragons, something really outstanding, and you did it. Thanks for sharing your art with us, so clean and sharp.
Thank you George you're too kind.
hehehe, that guy is a very popular source, I'm glad you covered up his "Super cuts" hair cut, I'm just wondering if the dragon is a little on the simple side. NOT THE WORK, the work is spectacular beyond belief, I guess I'm just searching for something more.. well new. but that's just me.. great job though very fun chop
The goal of the contest is to "...create your idea of a terrific dragon." The challenge for me was to improve the poor quality source to make a classic, wingless, dragon... my idea of a terrific dragon. I also love a 1957 Chevy Bel Air, another classic and my idea of a terrific ride!
Congrats, Rein!
Congratulations, nice image.
Grats!
