The transition from the tattooed rose and the real rose on the arm is well done and the falling petals effect is a nice touch.
I think all those large flowers on the book is an overkill of roses though and detracts from the work you did on the tat. The eye is drawn to the flowers on the book rather than to the rose on the arm. Maybe change the picture on the book to something with a smaller scene? If you change a book cover, also change the title on the book, otherwise the book title does not match the scene on the cover.

Maybe the rose out of the tattoo could be more clearly, maybe some highlights?
The mood change from the source to this image is great though, that blue is awesome
