Needs more color IMO. I like the coloring you did on the gears, but it may look nicer if you finish it.

I hesitated in colouring the entire image, but when I started to make the pants blue I found it looked just horrible so I stopped there. It looks indeed like an indie style video game (like The last Crown http://www.thelastcrown.com/ in black and white with only some parts in colours). So I’ll leave it as it is, even if it doesn’t look like a traditional Nintendo game.
Gotcha. So many times you think an idea will improve things, but it doesn't.
dammit.. I want my GAMEBOY BACK now!! hehehe
