I used the following tutorial to make this watercolour
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VRs6enx9DDE
Really nice one this
Thank you, I am rather a beginner with photoshop manipulation , so your encouragement is really appreciated. Please don't be shy to tell me how I could improve.
I like the watercolor effect you got in your entry. Good luck.

Extra points for using your own photograph.
Like my friend George said, the water color effect is working for me.

Congrats still26.
Wow...thank you very much.
YW seestah. Where was that photo taken?
This was taken in Outer Mongolia on the outskirts of Ulan Baatar. We were driving into town from living in yurts with families. Did you know there is one person for every 6 square miles ....not densley populated at all...and when you go for a walk, and pass a 'strangers' yurt, it is automatic that you get invited in, fed a cup of "vodka" (which they distill)...or a cup of "camel milk" or "mare's milk" or 'yogurt cheese" (that smells like old socks). It is their custom to not ignore strangers even tho' we sure look different from them. A wonderful magical country full of tough tough hard working and kind people. Thank you for asking. Please don't be shy to tell me how to improve in photo manipulation work as I'm fairly new to it. Thanks again.
Sincerely,
Olga
Congrats Olga! Wish I can go there some day.
If you and your other half decide to go let me know because I want to go back. If we do go around the same time we could do the tour together and visit families ...it takes a week or more (depending on tour). We did this with a young German girl (who is now a psychiatrist) and it was just so much fun. We sang in the car and she was singing a chicken song that sounded almost as silly as HALLOOOO OLGA song. We sang our way across the Mongolian Plains and when we picked up hitch hikers....they also had to sing. We had songs sung in Mongolian, Ukrainian, German, Japanese and of course the Canadian National Anthem..... (ahem).
Thanks for the invitation! I look forward to that, driving along the steppes of Mongolia singing silly songs with hitchikers, drinking vodka with the locals... sounds very promising

There is a site called Udemy that does online courses. They are offering a Photoshop course called "Mastering Photoshop CC 2017: Learn like a Pro" for FREE!!! It's a 20 hour course and retails for $200 (yea right).

If you ever need any help, feel free to PM me. I am always eager to talk Photoshop so don't be shy. I will try to critique your Chops from now on and maybe it will help.
Google Video Search and Youtube are chock full of video tutorials from beginner to advanced. Even Googling some variant of "Photoshop Tutorial" into Google Images can work. You get to see the image of what the tutorial is about, and pick one that suits your needs. You can Google things like "Scary Photoshop Tutorial", "How to do Shadows in Photoshop Tutorial" or w/e. The other day I didn't know how to make stars, so I Googled "How to Make Stars in Photoshop Tutorial" and now I am a master haha.
***MODS*** please note that I am in no way affiliated with Udemy, nor to the best of my knowledge is this an affiliate link as I got it from Google. If this is against the rules to post links like this, feel free to delete that from this post.
You haven't been deleted so I guess this is kosher. I have learned from belonging on here thanks to members like Zizounai, Skyangel and you...and of course the photoshop aspect of pyxleyes is a learning experience. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for your suggestions and the link. This hobby we have is just fabulous isn't it????....it is so much fun getting creative and meeting new like minded people. yay yay yay.
Congratulations nice job.
Thank you George55 for stopping by and encouraging me.
I concur still26. It's pretty crazy that we can create art like this. Just a generation ago this was impossible.
