I've darkened it a bit Skyangel. I prefered the previous one though, as the pictures on the wall were more visible. Couldn't it be a child nap in the afternoon? Or maybe the scene could be lit by the midnight sun?

Yes it could be an afternoon nap for a child but the contest title specially implies that we should make a night scene. Personally I would blacken the windows, clone the harsh light off the floor, and turn on the ceiling light with a dim night light. The lamp shade would cast some eerie lights and shadows around the room because of the pattern on it. You could have fun painting in lights and shadows where you want them and still make your wall pictures brighter. However, it's only a suggestion. I'm just letting you know what I thought of when I saw the scene. In the end you need to follow your own imagination. Keep up the good work.
