Good job although that tutorial seemed incomplete. In the final image of the tutorial, it has some sort of lens type flare, a glow around the planet, and some pretty hard highlight brushing.
CONTEST GOAL:
The title pretty much explains it. Find any tutorial on the internet and follow it (and possibly give it your own interpretation). Don't forget to mention the tutorial you interpreted.
Do NOT do the tutorial by the letter but give it your own twist. Using the given sources at your tutorial may NOT be used; find your own!

The tutorial used Cinema 4D. did you use that or do the text in Photoshop?
