Very nice picture ! Good luck author
Thank you lolu. It came out better than expected and was a good learning experience for me.
You did a good job of putting the water scene inside the bottle but I think the water color looks all wrong unless it has food coloring in it?
Google "water in a bottle on sand" and look at the photos in Google images. Notice how the color of the water in those reference bottles reflect the color of the sand and whatever else is behind it?
I know there are a few photoshop tutorials which show blue water in bottles on yellowish sand but in my opinion the colors still look wrong. However, it depends on whether you want realistic color reflections in the water or something more surreal and artistic. In the end, it's obviously your personal preference that matters. The chop is great. It's only the water color that annoys me personally.
haha. I worked hard to get that color. Actually, I messed around with it a lot, turned a bunch of knobs and stuff, and fell in love with that color. It really wowed me from the original source's water color. Maybe I can find the time to mess with it some more, but sometimes when you are making these, it just feels right... to you at least. Then someone else sees it differently and you, as an author, have to make the decision on what's best. Thank you for taking the time to give me your thoughts. Perhaps you are right.
Well I tried. Made the water more natural but IMO it takes away from the Chop. Had to up the saturation on the background as the overall image looked dull with the clear water. I may stay with the original image and go with the "food coloring" option. Thoughts?

Dear author, the clear water image looks the most realistic and is actually my favorite out of your three versions but as you say, everyone sees things differently and each person has their own preference. None of us can please everyone all the time.
Your work is excellent regardless of the color of the water.
This beautiful decor needed a better bottle, a bottle with a character. As it is a simple disposable lab bottle, going over the top with this lagoon blue is fun.
You sir, are an idea thief. But then again great minds think alike so I ain't mad atcha.
Tuckinator, if you were working on something similar, maybe you should continue. I mean it's a bottle, so it's not like a ship in a bottle would be an uncommon idea. Yes GMTA .
Congrats!
Thank you rturnbow
Congratulations....
TY George.
