I could not decide which of the two idioms, "don't judge a book by its cover" and "it's not rocket science." So I used both in this entry, one for the Title and one for my book.
This work was created totally in Photoshop CC 2018, using the 3D function.

It is a good one.... good job...
Thank you George, there's a lot of time in this one. After the modeling it took 30 minutes to render the scene at this resolution, and that's on a machine running at 5GHZ with a high end graphics card.
(to the author) Oooh an overclocker!! I'm at 4.8 with a 7700K on air. Haven't tried 5GHZ. Just plopped it at 4.8, fired it up and it's been rock solid ever since. Only got 24GB and need more soooo bad but it's so damned expensive. I moaned when I had to spend $98 for 16GB, now it's like double that.
(hi George too)
Very nice 3D work.
Thanks skyangel.
Are the 3D models standard with CC2018 or come from an external source?
No the models depicted here are not standard with CC2018. I made each and every one of them. My SBS shows the general way they were created. If i were to go into a detailed step by step, i might as well have written a tutorial. No external sources involved. I have been a member here LONG enough to know the rules. Please, if there is anything I can do to alleviate any doubt let me know.
@moderator, do you still doubt the validity of my modeling?
I like how you caught the shadows. Nicely rendered.
Thank you for noticing the lie of the shadows still26. That was an integral part of my thought process.
Congrats Lloyd
Thanks Ms.Z, grats to you too.
Congrats lchappell. good 3D work.
Come on man, you can render some 3D too. Especially on the rig you described.
Thanks for the congrats. Give it a shot.
Howdie stranger!
