Oh that poor cat.. scarred for life
Noooo, the cat is just flabbergasted by the presence of the fish in such an unusual place, he his not scarred at all. He is just nervous as he'd like to catch them. Hope he doesn't before the vote is over...
VERY nice composite. Well done. The plants are extracted very well and that doesn't look easy. Good shadows on the grass under the bench. Fish are cut out perfectly. Nice overall temperature. Fantastic color matching. I'm impressed. I never vote till after the deadline for entries because people may make changes, but I can't wait to find out who made this.
...and I was thinking all along of all the reproaches you would find about the plants, the shadows etc... (I swear it it true). When you look at the main source image (the bench and the cat), the photo itself has character, as it is full of grain and undercontrasted. The challenge was to find a balance between the fish and this source image Thanks for the compliments, it means a lot coming from you.
I also wait for the entries to turn yellow before I vote. But I always know when you've done it
The noise was a good "selling point" when I looked at your final image vs the sources. The background was relatively noise free as well as most of the fish. The cat scene and that bending fish were chock full of noise. You took care of that and balanced it well in your final image as you said. And to me, cutting out all the frilly stuff on the seahorse and jelly fish is a plus as not everyone does that.
I need to make a rubber stamp image with "BWR Approved" on it. Something like this. www.goo.gl/wG11bk
While I liked quite a few of the other ones, I voted highest on this.
Thank you B
