I have no idea why, but this reminded me of Planet of the Apes for some reason.. I really need to check my meds
I can tell you why: because in the end of Planet of the Apes you can see the statue of liberty in a similar position. Originally in the French book (written by Pierre Boulle) it was the Eiffel tower, did you know that?
Anyhow you're not far from the truth because do you know who is in the boat? all King Kong's family and friends on their way to rescue him.
