the branches and flowers are too large
Flowers look a little big, also try removing some of that noise you get when brightening images. Good luck!
i have made the flowers and branches smaller....thank you elficho and ponti
Nice light, almost like a Vermeer. Nice color effect too. Good luck!
the buds still look too big in my opinion but good job!
very happy piece.. good luck

For this entry I thought of something different. The top part of the merry-go-round made me think of a hat....so that was my starting point.
I found a great portrait photo taken by "Fetishfaerie " on deviantart. I selected all merry-go-round and after that only the top side. I resized it slightly and added it on top of girl's head.
I added tassels and gause.
I selected only the tail from the most visible red horse on the merry-go-round.
I used warping, resizing and distorting to get the shape of the high collar and the top of the dress. I didn't want to recreate the entire dress as I planned to put shadows on the left side of the image.
I added jewelries on top of dress and face (blending mode multiply).
I colored the dress, added mask, blended. I also added a small horse from the source image in the middle of the corset and dropped shadow.
In the end, I added old frame, added a texture to make it look like a painting, also added a slight dry brush filter, colored more and added brightness/contrast using adjustment layers.
SBS upcoming!

****adjusted some of the filters**** (5 years and 3831 days ago)
not sure why it's been uploaded twice, but it's a great image, and i like the poster - look. Good luck!!
Good idea, but IMHO a bit filter heavy...
Poster is good. Filters aren't the devil!! One isn't so bad. I love the butterflies.
nice creation, i like the finish...
the model you have used is stunning, i think it would have been beautiful if you left her as she was instead of putting a filter over her... nice image though, goodluck.
I love the filters and love the outcome! Awesome job!
i originally did do the model without the filter, but since the zipper came from a brush set, i was having trouble making look realistic enough, so instead, i went the other way and made her less realistic to match the zip.
wow i likme this
i like this alot! loving the folds on the zipper too
i like the peel effect
Nice!!!
This is so cool....I love the butterfly effect.

I think this is really beautifull, but I think it is a little disturbing that the feathers fades out when getting close to her body. But all in all it is a very beautifull creation.
I didn't want them sharp in her back, she is dead so my thinking was that nothing really touches, the feathers are like her life coming out of her and surrounding her with comfort and ease
does that make any sense???
This is really beautiful. Great idea, too.
Lovely image, excellent mood...you could have done better on the edges of the hair, but still a high vote from me...

the right side of the wings on the shoulder are in front of her, not on her. Great idea though and love the flow
the wings aren't 'on' her at all, they surround her![](http://www.pxleyes.com/forum/images/smilies/3.gif)
Fantastic blending, and a great overall image.
Congratulations for 3rd
Congrats for your third place! It's really a lovely picture!![](http://www.pxleyes.com/forum/images/smilies/113.gif)
