nice feathers but the face looks a little odd to me the face doesnt blend with the body and the red thing on the top of it . IMO .. otherwise its nicely done

Nisha: of course it looks odd, remember, this is something that you have to do using some of the source image. I know birds does not look like this particular one. Mine is a combination of mechanical tools and some feather like smudging. This is just an entry for this contest. Imagination counts! Even if it is not real.

The light source shining on the eagle is on the opposite side of the light source shining on the sword, although it does match the shadows on the ground.
I suggest you reverse the sword so the lighting matches.
