Thanks siulesoj, getye1 and jazza from sxc.com for the photos (5 years and 3797 days ago)
i believe after a asteroid impact planet will freeze and the only species that will survive are these that depends on ice. (5 years and 3797 days ago)
This is really pretty and well done...but people never inhabit this type of setting anyway...it would be difficult judging from this scene...that life was any different than normal. Just my opinion. Nice work, though
Beautiful image, but why the harsh change in water colour? maybe make the whole thing a light sparkling blue Good luck
Interesting image, though I might agree with pixelkid. Maybe some more indication that there used to be normal life there where's ice now? Small technical nitpick: if you flip the ice piece in front, it'll get more or less the same light source as the rest of the image. Good luck!
Looks like earth today, no indication that there has been an asteroid disaster. The reflection of the main iceberg is a little off on the left side. The lines don't meet.
Congrats for your third place, Chakra!
Congratulations for 3rd

This is very similar to a tutorial i've seen, so just in case you used it you may want to credit it, but if you didn't then i want to say, you did a great job!
saw that tutorial a while back, but didn't use it for this...used the idea of the pics coming to life, but that's about it. I wish I could find that tutorial again, I never did try to accomplish it....at the time, it looked waaaaaay too hard, but Thanks!!
I love your idea; I would make the couch look wet where water hits it and also the floor
This looks awesome here--on high resolution you can see that the edges of the source needs to be softened a bit or something just a tiny bit. Great job on the waterfall blending! I will still give this high marks.
Nice surreal feel!
Freaky indeed Very good job
Good luck!
this is truely unquie.love it
good job

I'll agree with Missy a most excellent job indeed...I think it looks a hell of a lot like upstate South Carolina very pastoral
very beautiful!
...i'm speechless
Nice image Perhaps the reflection on the road is too clear and too visible
can't really top Missy's comment.. good luck author
Thank you Missy. I know exactly what you mean. I am from South Yorkshire and when I was a Market Trader, I used to set up in Buxton every Tuesday and travelled that road on many occasions.
nice image but where is the source? white lines are now yellow?
Haha! When you said market trader I thought "Wall Street?" >>Evanmugford: check the source. The lines are yellow. Author>> This is image is beautiful. I love the rainbow.
EvanMugford. You can use as much or as little from the source as you want. There is no rule for that. I used part of the road the rest is as they say is pure artwork.
awesome!
Beautiful!
WOW!
Congrats for your first place! Great picture
Congrats, well done
Congratulations for 1st

Looks better in highres. (5 years and 3843 days ago)
It look a bit dark
Maybe obscure the obvious highlight on center tree, and reduce intensity of light beam from house, otherwise looks pretty good.
@ ponti55 As should be
@ CMYK46 Yeah u're right
Done.
looking good!
Sorry my full comment wasn't added for some reason. I meant to say, it looks a bit dark, but overall i like it, there's a halo around the tree on the left that you could easily take care of, high marks from me!
Very nice composition! And a very good choice of sources. I like the almost hidden tractor and just the whole feeling. Good luck
I liked the step 7 the best because you can see what is n the pic.
wow interesting thjis image has a cool feel to it!
k5683 watch in high resolution the picture then post a comment I think that u will like the picture as should be
Looks nice but a little too dark i think.
it's nice, but i think it's a lil bit to dark. try to add some shadows and lights and the image will be more catchy. Good Luck!
Author, I think you've done a great job. I don't think it's too dark, I think some people's monitors are probably too dark. Good luck!
Looks pretty dang good to me veiwed it in hi-res and magnified. hi vote for sure
lol and cmyk is right
a grand image indeed, the light comming from the window pulls this image off for me, can't imagine to think of who would actually live somewhere like this but hey hoe, well done!
Alittle too dark for my taste. Good luck.
beautiful mood!
it looks fine from a distance but once you look closer i noticed that there where some serious errors here conflicting light sources halos around trees some trees that are wayy too dark for the sky and much more
