Absolutely 100% created in photoshop! Took a really really long time, but I feel the work was worth it. (5 years and 3327 days ago)
You clearly put a lot of effort into this and it shows. This is a great unque piece and looks fantastic.
WOW, you have some incredible talent!!! Wish the tail was in the image, it's a cool element. I especially love those brass goggles and the skin texture, great work!
Love this! The detail is good...right down to the reflections in the goggles. GL
fantastic work author.... wish i could find the time to learn something like this
got my vote
Stunning image and beautifully crafted. You are certainly talented and have a unique view. Hi point and fav from me!
how did you come up with the idea?
it sorta evolved, I started this piece for the Electricity digital painting contest, but then I re-read the rules and realized I had broken several. So I figure I would just save it for a photoshop contest. Then this mixed manipulation contest started so I figured I would finally finish it I guess the idea kinda created itself as I went.
Absolute genius. Great to have an artist like yourself here
fantastic work

I like it, except the liquefied... whatever at the bottom. With some patience you could give the hose a realistic form, that would make sense.
LOL...this little fella is so cute...best of luck author

Really great concept. The only thing bothering my eye are the bases. They are too blurry and the dark sections at the base throw off the illusion.
Interesting! Only nitpick would be the brightness of the second light.
Thanks for your thoughts guys.
very very cool work author...i know that is too late for my comment now but IMHO would be better if the light is placed on top of the drills...any how, this is great entry...good luck

Well my main intension was to give feel of joy by looking at moon. :)
Moon image is created by using my custom brush.
Thanks to http://www.photos8.com and http://www.sxc.hu for providing stock image! (5 years and 3332 days ago)
i really like this picture, i love the silhouette of the two figures. but i think the moon is just a bit to bright and vibrant, great work though
Thank you for you comment gustimusprime, but as I mentioned that my main intension was to give feel of joy by looking at moon so I kept moon bright as its main element in my composition.
Nice mood, like the idea. But imo there are a bit too many clouds to make it a believable image (moon would be partly behind the clouds). In a way it shouldnt be a problem, after all it's a fantasy image, but if you'd be able to change the sky (get rid of the clouds), I think it would work better. Good luck!
i love it ,good luck

the lightrays on the stairs isn't in the right perspective with the light going through the stained glass....otherwise i like it a lot.
i used perspective to get everything just so... i lined up with the original light source (see source1) many thanks for your comment
Stunning work ... I do think sometimes we forget that there can be light sources from outside the photo ... thus the appearance that the lighting/perspective is off. We don't notice this when we are actually there, looking at the scene because we take everything in as a "whole". IMO you have done beautiful work here.
This is convincing, well done with the source find as well.
Good job...very realistic!
Thanks for your comments, means a lot...
Nice job
