The moon is behind the palace but it illuminates the front of the palace?

author says:

Looks like you didn't edit the point where the two mountains intersect, well at least it looks like its still a blue sky.

author says:

thts not the sky..................those are the farthermost mountains.........watch it in HR

avatar k5683
k5683 says:

this would be so awesome if there wasn't so much light on the buildings. your step 6 looked better IMO

Nice idea...Try to brighten the mountains a little bit and add some highlights on the edges of the mountains(only on the parts the moon is behind them)

avatar ponti55
ponti55 says:

It's very dark, brighten it up a bit and tint it a dark, desatirated blue, to make it seem more like night (maybe add a few stars too) good luck!!

avatar k5683
k5683 says:

I love the way you put that moon in there. A glow going from the moon toward the viewer would have been awesome

Interesting - I think your moon could use some work, hard to see it properly without a hi res, the lightning might be better if you found some stock for it - at the moment it looks like its from one of those static type desk lights? Maybe some extra storm clouds or something?? GL

avatar ponti55

Looks good, except for the thunder. try finding an actual image.

avatar k5683

this would be awesome without that thunder--you'd get better marks without it

A darkly night would hide the woman's crime. But not this one with a bright moon. (5 years and 3737 days ago)

Grandma has gone wild? o.o these blood splashes need some shadows.

avatar ponti55
ponti55 says:

The blood squirts looks like they're on the camera lens, try to maybe reverse-emboss it to make it seem 3-dimensional. Try adding some shadows as well. Good luck!!

avatar sosipatra

Chucky's grandma...blood isn't where it should be..try to fix that.

avatar wazowski
wazowski says:

Pretty creepy, nice hand there on the ground. About the blood, the way it is right now, it doesnt look like it's part of a wall or dress because it doesnt seem to have any shading from the wall or dress itself. The blood is bright everywhere now, it doesnt interact with the shades that you can see on the wall. Same for the dress, you see the woman almost as some shadow, how come you can see the blood so bright then? If you can fix that (maybe if you use some blending options like soft light or overlay), would be great. Good luck!

author says:

Thank you all! You are right about the blood. I am working on it, try to fix it.

author says:

I have corrected the blood. Embossed it, overlay some of it, added shadows. Hope it looks better now.

avatar sparklen
sparklen says:

I like this image very much........one question: is there glass only in that one window where you see the broken pane with blood on it?If that's the case, I would like to see more broken panes. Good fix on the blood!

avatar k5683
k5683 says:

cool blue moonlight

author says:

Sparklen, yes it is glass only in that window. All others are gone. I am not sure if I have the time to put some more glass on the other windows too.

Amazing job in reconstructing the barn! I agree with CMYK about the light beam of the left window...it's pointing the wrong direction.
