Scary....? (5 years and 3329 days ago)
If it's supposed to be a downspout, the ummm..."relevant" end isn't connected to anything.
The rest looks good!

What I imagined was that the spout was going thru the chest, so the rump could go up. That way, when it wasn't raining and you looked up, it would look like the dragon was about to bean you with the ball.
lol @ "relevant" end.
Being beaned by the ball is probably better than having the "relevant" end aiming down ... Love the idea and I imagined that the water was coming from hole in the "hump" on his back. But maybe that is just my imagination running wild again.
The rain is excellent ... whole image makes me feel cold from the raging storm.
the little water flows look great... nice image GL
You did a good job...good luck
lol@arca What an excellent idea. Have a wicked looking gargoyle grinning over his shoulder while his "relevant" end is hanging over the edge. When I build my castle...
Very very cool mood author,i love it....
ROFL ... that is just too funny an image! I could make a vague reference about bricks at this point but don't think it is allowed ... wink, wink, nudge, nudge!
As I cannot edit my last comment I think I should clarify ... I do not think that the image is "funny" just where the conversation went! Silly me!

I had this exact same idea! You beat me to it...
You should try using brush with small size (white brush), with scatter effect in the brush option and paint with different density around the area that you should see the water splashes, then the image will become more convincing . Nice idea! Good luck
I think it's clever. GL!

I'd expect to see a splash. How did you make the water pouring from the frame?
Hi CMYK46,
I decided don't do the splash... and the water falls after the cut...lol, I tried to make the splashes but they were soooooooo superficial that I gave up. I have to try it much more before it gets better and once I achieved I'll make me a brush (love to do them).
The water was made by a combination of brushes, airbrush and smudge tool.
you could almost add eyeballs and use the opening as the mouth!!! hehehe.. good work author!!!!
It is true Driven!!!!!
Thank you!
"dam" another way im so good at making splash. For example, the amateur spy entry. Unfortunately, it was removed cuz the stupid author didnt respond my request( more than 5 or 6 times) if u wanna i can show u how to do it
The water pouring from the frame is simply perfect! You could make a tutorial about it!
Looks great, very creative, maybe add some water splashes around the water getting out the frame.
NICE !! G L

Very nice work but I did some research but unfortunately the "sharkman" isn't a myht creature. Its just a fictious one
wasn't it supposed to be a water creature? Else I will go and have to change some stuff. Can anyone help out on this? Not very clear to me when reading the contest details. Just let me know if it doesn't fit the subject!
to me the contest meens there are myths and folklores that there are yet to be discovered creatures in the seas. it doesnt say anything about using documented myths about specific creatures. so id say ur entry is fine
Here's what Lamantine told me when I asked about creating a fictitious creature:
Well, I was thinking about any water creatures which were not proven to exist but in which some persons believe and that has its own legend. The list I've given is partial ; you can search for other myth sea creatures online. But I'm afraid you can't create one from your mind.
So the list on the link that he posted does have names of quite a few creatures, most have a description only, and a couple do have an image of some sort. I'm sure that there are lots more names and descriptions out there if you look further. Good luck to everyone!
EDIT: anything goes!
as the moderator mentioned, it's okay to make up your own so i'll keep it this way, my original idea!
cool work author...gl
looks cool....a little dark.... but nice... gl
