IMO since the leaf is falling down there must be a tree nearby
there it might need some tree shadows because the light source is quite strong from the left. but this is just my horrible suggestion

The tree could be up down or even on left so there would be no shadow since the light comes from the right :P ty for your suggestion tho.

Interesting, work on the hair masking.. looks too blurry and too featherd, try using the smudge brush with a 2-3px soft 50% opacity and make some hair edges ... good luck!

This has a really neat feel to it but the source is not visible other than the tree trunk. Using more of the source would make this more of a contender, I think. Still. Good job and Good Luck.
