I used a variety of methods for this drawing, textures, and tracing.

hehehe.. lots of fun
Nice job! Would be good to see the source for the metal rims and a SBS so we can see how you made the figure & balloon.
EDIT: Oops, sorry author! I should have looked at the source pic again before commenting.
Cute. The face of the PXLeyes character on the balloon seems flat rather than following the rounded contours of the balloon, however.
the metal rims is from image given, wait for a while for the sbs...
Very nicely done and a good idea, I'm sure mistermonty would love this!
SBS is now available.... pls see
nice one

Thank you Nemesis-19 , FantasyStock and B-SquaredStock for their stock images . (5 years and 2925 days ago)
I like this work but the outlines altho they might be meant to be, are bothering me.
The drop shadows don't work, they make planes & figures look like they're against a painted backdrop.

burning under his feet might ground him a bit more, great job though, fun piece
Thanks for your comment drivenslush
where did his clothes go ... oh, nevermind, I see them. More contrast would help to make them easier to see

gr8 work
The hatch she's sitting on needs highlights & shadows to make it 3 dimensional. Not sure if the painted effect helps or hurts, since the figures are obviously photographic.
the edge from the sail could use some smoothening. I think id liked it better if the figures had a more paint effect but maybe this is just the effect you want to create, so i dont want to change you on that.
looks cleaner now author good job high score for the talent presented!
