If we never invented smaller lightbulbs then a normal one, how would common things look like?
I cut out the lamp and was trying to make it transparant.If you look at the letters you can see it. I decided to try and add a flashlight. From there i made it up as i went along.
I had a really warm and bright colored one at first, but i like the grungy effect it's got going now (5 years and 3551 days ago)
maybe you could increase the bulb's opacity a bit

The source is the bulb of the flashlight, transformed a couple of times.
Well it looks more like a torch than a bulb...

What's being dulled down here? Seems off theme to me...
They didn't discover the shroud of Turin, Dead Sea Scrolls or the Rosetta Stone.. they Discovered a Pizza Cutter (dulled down discovery)
Can i be honest? I think you made this for some other contest, and you thought it fits the theme. Well it does..
great chop...but I think I agree with greymval...
I made it yesterday after being stuck having my car fixed..the pictures came from the repair shop (the mechanics felt really bad because they thought it was just the battery..ended up costing 500 bucks... so they let me take pictures in shop because it turned into a 4 hour repair...It was within those 4 hours I got the idea of using an archeological research team to discover something mundane.. hence the contest theme
(the broken door knob came from their fenced in dumpster).. the pizza cutter is mine,, it was going to be a fork but I felt the pizza cutter would be of more interest to a group of robots .. but thanks for your comment anyway

I perfectly understand the message hidden in this image, Author. A few years ago I was in the same situation 
great use of sources, nice image. I would think it a great discovery if i could find the pizza cutter at my house. however, in this case i am sure it is a dissapointment for them.
