Amelia Mary Earhart; (July 24, 1897 – missing July 2, 1937, declared dead January 5, 1939) was a noted American aviation pioneer, and author.Earhart was the first woman to receive the Distinguished Flying Cross, awarded for becoming the first aviatrix to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. I have taken some artistic liberty with the color of her hair, eyes, and clothing.(h)
Nice re-coloring and clean up! looks believable in the context of the photo. the left side of her face could use a tiny bit of adjustment though. It's a little too blotchy. If some other parts of the photo had some the same sort of "artifacting" it would make sense, but since it doesn't, it would look so much better if you cleaned that up just a *little* it would look ! In most images the eyes are drawn over and over to the face, so that is usually the focus. (there is also a part around the knee that has some issues) Sorry! I am only nit picking because I like it so much and want it to be perfect!
Thanks annabat, I tried to make the adjustments you suggested...this is something new for me, colorization that is.
It already looks much better!
Lookin' good...I bet she'd LOVE to fly that sucker!
Nice idea good luck!
Well done! Great idea. Looks real!
good work author
if there is only one entry you are sure to win!
great
LOVE IT.,,Amelia was one of our families heros.. good luck
good
GL!
very nice way to share your thougts . g.l.
She sits there well, the coloring looks good and matches with the rest of the image. In case you can mask the lighter parts around her hair a bit (or make them a bit darker/less contrast with background), would be very nice! Good luck!
EDIT: looks better and better, well done!
nice entry, gl!
