hint: look in the tree... alot of poeple are missing this apparently. lol (5 years and 3611 days ago)
Very cool effect. Looks like a lot of hard work... didn't see the face at first sight, which means it is looking quite natural
It looks like a real acrylic piece! Very well done, and it deceives our eyes...
nice work .........
I said that acrylic piece deceived the eyes... I didn't notice the real image until reading the description!... Very well done!
nice
yeah i guess it is a bit hard to see, but i wanted it to be somewhat natural looking... i hope i didnt get a lower score cause people were missing what the real illusion was... haha!

Powerful work!
You know, author, I'm not so worried 'bout the lost of the spilled oil in itself, but very, very worried 'bout what can happen with our Nature with such accident. Moments of damage; months, years to turn everything into normality...
Great name at the bottom! good work, esp. w/plastic wrap for the slick. And oh, that 'twere so, that we could use these beasts of burden to clean it up. Erikuri is right, it's going to take a long time.
scariest part, is some of the right wing nuts want to seal it with a Nuclear bomb.. YIKES
i believe it was all part of the plan to take the publics attention off of something else goin on in the government.... call me a conspiracy theorist.... lol... OUTSTANDING WORK AUTHOR!!
Very strong image...good luck
beautiful entry...........
Author, nuclear bomb??? where in the world did you hear that ??? had to be from some lefty source.
Fox news .. where else.. Christopher Brownfield gives the suggestion that shutting the leak up with massive explosives and using a nuclear bomb to melt the piping... CRAZY!!!!
Chris Brownfield is a writer for ' The Daily Beast " a liberal blog.
I saw it on FOX news Golckman.. so I kinda just assumed it was a right winger.. my bad.. but he's not really that endorsed by the left either... still creepy as hell to think about
EDIT: Doesn't matter now anyway.. the first marshlands have been corrupted.. and not by tar balls.. but pure liquid oil, welcome to a 20 to 50 year disaster... I guess the drill baby drill is really working out now
wooooo hoooo......
Impressive image, Westfall you could be exactly right with your observation albeit a nasty game of Wag the Dog if it were true.
nice idea
Nicely done.....gl

A used the Two Cup picture for my eyes on the bull frog and the clone tool. MarjoleinART-Stock from Deviation and filter tools. (5 years and 3618 days ago)
It's a nice idea, but you could have made the eyes inside the cups...

I feel that the reflections are not quite right perspective wise and need to be alittle more faded - but that's just me! No offense meant.
good stuff!
maybe tweak the reflection a little bit
excellent !
nice
the vase is STUNNING
Have removed the bracelet. It just wasn't laying at right angle. If possible, I will redo it.
Nice job overall, but the reflection of the vase doesn't match the pattern, and it needs a shadow. Everything else would have a reflection as well. Try to make all shadows consistent with light source.
Very pretty. The black outlines on the petals make the flowers seem like an illustration while the jewelry looks real. The vase reflection is off; it should be a simple vertical flip of the vase warped to make the flip's top edge follow the vase's curved bottom edge (so the purple point along bottom edge matches up, for example -- see your SBS Step 6). It's odd that the vase reflects while the jewelry merely casts shadows -- and down for the pearls but up for the gold chain at that. [Adding reflections for the jewelry would be tricky. Put some jewelry on a mirror to create a model to work from.]
Wow... amazing work, author! I love everything, specially the vase... No, the pendant with earrings... no... no!... It's everything! And dot!

Just one little thing: if there's a reflection for vase, jewels need a bit of reflection too...
Beauty! I prefer the jewels
OK folks. I cut out the reflection. Excuses, excuses, but just got brand new trifocals and am having a really hard time adjusting. Everything looks out of focus. Really appreciate your comments.
Hey author, "My God" this is a wonderful work! Lots of layers, and the colors are outstanding. The vase is one of a kind. The jewels, are beautiful and look real. The only thing I see (Not wrong) but your shadows need to be darker. This is what I think. Do that, and your work deserve to be placed on the wall of your living room.....! High thumbs up!
Great work author...good luck
